This Privacy Statement only applies to Aus Health International websites and does not apply to any other websites from which you may have linked to this website or to any website to which you may link from this website. Please read the privacy statements of those sites that you link to.

Information Collected through this Website
Except in the circumstances set out in this Privacy Statement, Aus Health International will not attempt to identify you. Your name and other identifying personal details will not be collected (unless you specifically provide them by contacting us).

When you look at Aus Health International's website, our standard practice is not to monitor any of your browsing activities. From time to time, Aus Health International may make a statistical record of visits and log the information for the purpose of evaluating our website. The types of information we may collect include:

Session cookies are short-lived and are used only during a browsing session, and expire when you quit your browser. The Aus Health International website only uses session cookies.

Use and Disclosure of Information Collected
Any personal information provided by you will be used for the purpose for which you provided it - the most likely circumstances for you to provide personal information to us are:

  • To make a query about Aus Health International(where we will use the information to respond to you);
  • To register your interest as a consultant to work with Aus Health International on overseas projects (through registering on our database or submitting your CV)
  • In response to a questionnaire/survey by us.

If you have registered as a consultant on our database and/or provided your CV to us in application for work opportunities, we may disclose the information to other parties as follows:

  • When submitting an expression of interest for a project, we may submit your CV to the Client as an indication of the high standard of consultants that we can access. This does not obligate you to participate in the project if the contract is won.
  • When submitting a proposal for a project, we may submit your CV to the Client. Before doing this, we would contact you to obtain your agreement, as your inclusion in a proposal would obligate you to participate in the project, if won.
  • When writing tender proposals for projects we often work in partnership with other companies - during the process of selecting personnel for nomination in the tender, we may provide your CV to partner companies for evaluation of your suitability for a particular position.
  • Any staff member of Aus Health International may have access to your database registration and CV and will use the information for the purpose of determining your suitability for a particular consultancy or project.

Information held on Aus Health International's database may be disclosed to our database maintenance technician, however this person is bound to maintain confidentiality and will only use the information for the purpose of ensuring that the database functions efficiently.

Aus Health International will also provide access to information collected from you in the unlikely event of an investigation by a law enforcement agency or other government agency who has the legal authority to undertake such an inspection.

Aus Health International will not provide information on you to any other organisation or individual other than as described above, without seeking your permission first.

Use of Information Collected for Marketing
If you wish to receive regular information from Aus Health International you can choose to do so by subscribing to our email lists. You can unsubscribe whenever you wish. The subscription lists will only be used for the purpose which is stated and we will not provide your personal details to any other individual or organisation for the purpose of marketing.

If you have any difficulties unsubscribing from an email list and you wish at any time to stop receiving information about Aus Health International, please notify us by contacting the Privacy Officer (see details below). There will be no cost to you for us to comply with this request.

Quality of Personal information
Our goal is to ensure that your personal information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. To assist us with this, please up-date your details on the consultant registration database using your login details.

Access to Information Collected
If you have registered as a consultant on our database (an online process), then you can access your personal record at anytime using your login details. If you have any difficulty accessing your record, or have forgotten your login details, please contact the Database Manager on database@ahi.com.au

If you would like to deregister from the database or have your CV removed from our files, please contact the Database Manager on database@ahi.com.au. Your details will be removed within a week of your request.

If you wish to obtain access to any other personal information held by Aus Health International about you, please write to:

When making your request, to assist us in responding promptly, please provide us with an indication of:
(a) What sort of information about you, you think we have;
(b) How you believe we obtained the information from you (e.g. you registered as a consultant, you provided feedback); and
(c) What you would like done with the information - e.g. you would like a copy of it, you would like to update it

Please allow at least 14 days for us to respond to your query.

This Aus Health International Privacy Statement applies to all Aus Health International companies in Australia.
