On 23 April 2003, following provision of technical assistance in facility planning, Aus Health International entered into a Heads of Agreement with Emirates Hospital Supplies which is a division of the Bin Aweida Group.

Under this Agreement, AHI will develop and manage a specialist Urology/Diagnostic Medical Centre within the campus of the Dubai Health Care City in the United Arab Emirates.

The first phase of the project will involve providing health care specific advice in relation to:

Design Development (including: detailed service profiles; design brief in association with partners; major equipment specifications in association with partners; indicative staffing plan and review the set of room data sheets prepared by the Owners architects.

Advice regarding Construction

AHI will also provide ongoing management and operation services of the Specialist Urology and Diagnostic Medical Centre. This will involve the provision of a full time Executive Management Team together with a number of visiting short term specialists.

The Executive Management Team will consist of:

Chief Executive Officer

Director of Finance and Corporate Services

Director of Clinical Services

Director of Nursing

Individual specialists will be drawn from AHI's network and will include specialist doctors and nurses in different areas of urology, nephrology, diagnostics and diabetes management. Facility development and services will be delivered in partnership with Prince of Wales Hospital and other affiliates.
