- Eritrea - Development of Blood Bank Policy, Guidelines and Quality Assurance System
January 2002 - March 2002 The project, a component of the World Bank funded “HIV/AIDS, Malaria, STD and TB Control Project (HAMSET)”, involved providing a program of assistance to the Eritrean Ministry of Health to improve the existing Blood Bank system, at both national and zonal levels.

- Bahrain - Health Sector Assistance
May 2004 - November 2006 Aus Health International entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Bahrain to deliver technical assistance to help the Ministry improve health service delivery.
- Bahrain - Health Services Preparedness Assessment for Formula One Grand Prix
December 2003 - December 2003 AHI undertook an assessment of the Ministry of Health’s state of preparedness to deliver health services in support of the proposed Formula One Grand Prix to be held in Bahrain.
- Consultancy Services for Sidra, Qatar
November 2007 - December 2008 Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), a private, not-for-profit, chartered organization, is building an all-digital academic medical center on the Education City campus in Doha, Qatar. This facility, known as Sidra Medical and Research Center, will offer the latest state of the art technology and equipment, and will meet world-class standards in patient care, medical education, and biomedical research. Sidra will provide specialty care for women and children, general adult medical and surgical services, and a sophisticated clinical and translational research program. It will also serve as a teaching venue for medical students at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar, a branch of the prestigious Ivy League university in New York. Scheduled to open in late 2011, this premier medical center requires highly-experienced medical, professional and administrative staff. Currently, Sidra is in the pre-operational phase.

April 2005 - October 2006 On 23 April 2003, following provision of technical assistance in facility planning, Aus Health International entered into a Heads of Agreement with Emirates Hospital Supplies which is a division of the Bin Aweida Group.
- Qatar - Al Ahli Hospital Management Project
November 2003 - November 2005 Aus Health International was successfully appointed and completed the commissioning and management of a major new private hospital which was opened in Doha in November 2004.

- Fiji - Health Management Reform Project
February 1999 - January 2004 This is a five-year project that aims to improve health services through decentralisation and capacity building in management leading to improved customer-focused service delivery at all levels of the health sector.
- Fiji - Infection Control Training
September 1999 - December 1999 The project provided technical advice and training on infection control to staff from three regional hospitals in Fiji.
- Fiji - Poverty Analysis
June 2001 - August 2001 Aus Health International was contracted to conduct a country-wide poverty analysis of Fiji.
- Kiribati - Skills Training in Critical Care Nursing
June 2001 - June 2001 This project involved the delivery of competency-based theoretical and practical training in critical care nursing.

July 2002 - August 2002 A training program on diabetes management for health workers and educators.
- Nauru - Mental Health Assistance Program
February 2006 - February 2007 Aus Health International worked with the Ministry of Health to assist in the development of capacity to deliver a mental health service.

- Pacific - Medical Equipment Maintenance Project
April 2000 - March 2006 This project is directed towards improving standards of medical equipment planning, maintenance and repair in six Pacific Island countries (PICs) by developing local capacity in equipment management.

January 1998 - December 1999 This project involved the organisation and delivery of training courses in critical care and emergency care for health professionals from hospitals in Kiribati and Papua New Guinea.
- Samoa - Health Information System: Post Implementation Review
January 2000 - July 2000 This review mission assessed the quality, appropriateness and sustainability of the Samoa's Health Information System; gathered lessons learned from development and implementation of the project; and assessed options for future ownership, development and promotion of the Health Information System.
- Samoa - Skills Training in Medical Records Management
May 2001 - May 2001 Aus Health International provided an intensive competency-based training course for government staff on best practice methods of medical record keeping and management.

November 1998 - December 1998 This mission evaluated the Solomon Islands' Primary Health Care Project.
- Solomon Islands - Hospital Management Technical Assistance
November 1999 - August 2000 This interim assistance project facilitated improvements in cost effectiveness and service delivery in the hospitals of the Solomon Islands.
- Tonga - Biomedical Engineering Maintenance Training
November 1999 - December 1999 This project required the design and delivery of a high quality, flexible and appropriately targeted short course in Biomedical Engineering maintenance in the Kingdom of Tonga.

December 1998 - October 2006 This project is now complete after three successful Phases in facilitating the Ministry of Health to improve planning, management and coordination within both the Ministry and across the health sector nationally.

- Vanuatu - Health Sector Planning and Management Project: Asset Management
January 2000 - June 2004 Aus Health International was responsible for the Asset Management Component of this project, which involved advising and training the Ministry of Health in asset planning, management, maintenance and disposal.
- Vanuatu - Redesign for Health Sector Assistance Package
August 2005 - November 2005 Aus Health International provided two in-house specialists to appraise and redesign AusAID's package of assistance the Ministry of Health in Vanuatu.

- Bangladesh - Evaluation of NGO Contracting
May 2004 - August 2004 The study examined the feasibility and comparative advantage of existing NGO contracting models in Bangladesh
- Bangladesh: Programme Support Office (PSO)
August 2007 - August 2012 The project, being undertaken jointly by AHI and ADSL (Bangladesh), is working collaboratively with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) to strengthen the Ministry's stewardship role and management capacity in order to improve the implementation of the “Health, Nutrition and Population Sector Programme”.

May 1998 - May 2002 This project involved the funding and planning for the development of a 300-bed speciality hospital with corporate governance and contemporary management practice.
- Pakistan - Women's Health Project
April 2002 - March 2004 The Government of Pakistan has received a loan from the ADB to assist the Government and its provinces to improve the health of women, girls and infants.
South-East Asia
- Bangladesh Urban Primary Health Care Sector Development Program Project
May 2008 - November 2008 The consultancy is to prepare technical, financial, ecomomic, social and environmental assessment reports for the proposed Bangladesh Urban Primary Health Care Sector Development Program. The Proposed Program will include: A Policy Agenda, Priority investments and a component for institutional strengthening within the Local Government Division (LCD), city corporations, municipalities and partner agencies.
- Cambodia - A New Concept for AusAID Support
January 2001 - February 2001 Aus Health International developed a concept paper outlining an innovative approach to provision of donor support to Provincial Health Departments in Cambodia under a boosting strategy – a type of sector-wide management approach implemented at provincial level.
- Cambodia - Design of ADB Component of Health Sector Support Project
October 2001 - September 2002 Aus Health International prepared the design of the ADB Component of the Health Sector Support Project and participated in the multi-donor appraisal mission of this design (donors include ADB, World Bank and DFID). This project aims to improve the health status of the people in Cambodia - particularly the poor - by improving access to quality health services and supporting national strategy and institutional strengthening.

December 1998 - December 2001 Aus Health International provided technical expertise and progress monitoring for this AusAID funded project in Kampong Cham Province.
- East Timor - Mental Health Review and Design Mission
May 2001 - June 2001 Aus Health International provided technical expertise in psychosocial trauma for this mission.
- East Timor - National Mental Health Project
November 2002 - June 2005 This project aims to establish a sustainable mental health program in East Timor.
- Indonesia - Bali Health Sector Identification Mission
November 2002 - December 2002 Following the Bali bombing in September 2002, AusAID prioritised assistance to the Bali health sector to enable it to rebuild and recover from the disaster. Aus Health International was contracted to undertake an identification mission to determine priorities for assistance in the health sector.

July 1999 - December 2000 Aus Health International providing training expertise for this project. (The project improved and maintained the health and nutritional status of the population through improvements in diet, lifestyle and quality of health services.)

June 2002 - July 2002 This design mission involved the provision of a poverty expert who designed an 8 month participatory poverty assessment process for the Mekong Delta Region of Viet Nam to be lead by AusAID.
